Native to Australia, eucalyptus is found throughout the Mediterranean basin, with more than 190 known species, fifteen of which have medicinal properties. The ancients
burned its leaves to disinfect the place and prevent epidemics. Eucalyptus essential oil is obtained by distillation of the leaves.
General and respiratory antiseptic.
Bronchitis, flu, asthma, oxygen, calms coughs and thins bronchial sputum.
Diffusion, friction, inhalation, internal use and aromatic grog.
A good synergy in diffusion: eucalyptus, pine, thyme, rosemary and lavender in equal parts.
A good anti-flu grog: eucalyptus, oregano, thyme, cinnamon and cloves.
Inhalation: eucalyptus, pine and lavender.
For babies, the essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender and orange are the only ones that diffuse into the atmosphere, five minutes per hour.
